Mr. Xie from Hunan Province, leveraging the advantages of the region’s high-quality white radish production area, specializes in vegetable dehydration processing. Facing the challenges of high energy consumption, unstable quality, and significant environmental pressure associated with traditional coal-fired drying methods, the company introduced a 20-meter electrically heated multi-layer mesh belt dryer from Jinlu Machinery, creating a standardized white radish slice production line tailored to Hunan’s regional characteristics, achieving clean production and intelligent upgrades.

2.Locally Adapted Process Design

Raw Material Processing Optimization

High-quality white radishes from the Dongting Lake area are carefully selected and deeply cleaned using a locally developed Hunan-based bristle roller washing machine, effectively removing the sticky mud and sand deposited over the years and reducing surface damage.

A custom-designed slicing machine with Hunan-specific blades is used to ensure uniform radish slice thickness (3±0.5mm) and neat shape.

Intelligent Drying System Adaptation

Targeting the high humidity characteristics of Hunan’s “return to spring” weather and rainy season, the equipment features enhanced moisture-proof design and a dehumidification module.

Utilizing electric heating and intelligent PID temperature control, it sets gradient temperature zones tailored to the characteristics of Hunan white radishes:

Zone 1 (58℃) provides gentle dehydration, adapting to the high sugar content of Hunan white radishes;

Zone 2 (68℃) provides deep drying, preserving the radish’s unique sweetness;

Zone 3 (52℃) balances moisture, adapting to Hunan’s seasonal humidity variations.
