On the morning of March 28, a truck loaded with large-scale drying equipment slowly rolled out of the gate of Jinlu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., accompanied by the sound of a horn. The custom-made 18-meter extra-long mint dryer officially began its journey to Mengcheng, Anhui Province, widely known as the “Hometown of Mint in China.”

This equipment was meticulously developed by Jinlu Machinery in response to the unique characteristics of mint cultivation in Mengcheng—large-scale planting, concentrated harvest periods, and high demands for appearance quality. With a body length of 18 meters, the machine features the latest low-temperature circulating drying technology, which ensures a chlorophyll retention rate of over 95% while increasing single-batch processing capacity several times that of traditional models.

According to the technical director of Jinlu Machinery at the dispatch site, Mengcheng, as a major distribution hub for mint products in China, has long relied on traditional sun-drying methods that are heavily affected by weather conditions and prone to dust contamination. This new dryer is designed to address these challenges. It not only improves thermal efficiency by 30% but also uses an intelligent control system to precisely regulate moisture content. This ensures that the dried mint retains its vibrant color and active pharmaceutical ingredients, meeting the stringent requirements of the high-end herbal market and export demands.

To ensure the safe delivery of this large equipment to the customer in Mengcheng, Jinlu Machinery has arranged for technical engineers to accompany the shipment. They will provide a one-week on-site service package covering installation, operation training, and maintenance.
