The successful delivery of the honeysuckle drying room for biomass pellets in vehicles helps improve the quality and efficiency of the traditional Chinese medicine industry

1.Customer ordering requirements

Recently, our company has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a large-scale 24 truck biomass pellet honeysuckle drying room tailored for a traditional Chinese medicine processing enterprise in Shanxi Province, and can be put into use. The customer specializes in high-quality honeysuckle processing, and the original drying method is limited by weather and site conditions, resulting in low efficiency and easy pollution. After multiple investigations, the customer ultimately selected Jinlu Machinery’s medicinal herb dryer, which requires energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment, precise temperature control, and strong batch processing capabilities to meet the daily drying needs of several tons of honeysuckle, while also complying with green production standards.

2.Scheme configuration

In response to customer needs, our technical team has designed an intelligent biomass pellet heat pump drying system, with core configurations including:

① 24 mobile galvanized drying carts with layered tray design, with a single loading capacity of 6000 kilograms, significantly increasing production capacity;

② Biomass pellet burner heating, which saves more than 30% energy compared to traditional coal combustion and has no sulfide emissions;

③ PLC intelligent temperature and humidity control, precise adjustment of multi-stage drying curve from 35 ℃ to 75 ℃, preserving the color and efficacy of honeysuckle;

④ Fully enclosed clean drying room, dust-proof and insect proof, in compliance with GMP Chinese herbal medicine processing standards.

3.Customer feedback

During customer acceptance, the drying effect was highly recognized: “It only takes XX hours from feeding to finished product, with a green color and intact aroma, fully achieving export grade quality! ”Meanwhile, biomass pellet fuel is sourced locally, resulting in significant cost reductions. The successful implementation of this project has provided a model for the large-scale processing of local Chinese medicinal materials, and the client has planned to purchase additional equipment in the second phase.
