Wenxian Customer Successfully Puts 12-Car Biomass Pellet Dryer into Operation, Supporting Green Energy Development
A new 12-car biomass pellet dryer has been successfully installed and put into operation at a customer site in the Wenxian Industrial Zone, Henan Province. This medium-sized equipment, manufactured by Henan Jinlu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., meets the customer’s drying needs for Rehmannia root.
01 Equipment Performance and Features
The JL-12 biomass pellet temperature-controlled dryer, which has been put into operation, measures 10.5 meters long, 2.3 meters wide, and 2.4 meters high. It has a power output of 90 kW and can process 3,000 to 6,000 kilograms of material per drying cycle, making it ideal for small and medium-sized production enterprises.
The equipment is equipped with an advanced temperature and humidity control system, enabling precise adjustment within a temperature range of 50°-90°C. It also features automatic moisture removal, a low-temperature coal refueling alarm system, and constant temperature and humidity drying capabilities, ensuring drying efficiency and end product quality.
The equipment’s exterior casing features a colored, insulated rock wool composite panel, which is not only aesthetically pleasing and durable, but also offers excellent thermal insulation, sealing, and environmental performance. The drying grid utilizes galvanized perforated sheet metal for rust resistance and durability.
02 Diverse Heat Source Options
This 12-car drying equipment supports a variety of heat sources, including traditional heating materials such as soot, coke, and firewood, or an optional biomass pellet burner that uses biomass pellets as a heat source.
Using biomass pellets as fuel significantly reduces pollutant emissions, with sulfur dioxide emissions reaching near zero. Its environmental performance far exceeds that of oil-fired (or gas-fired) boilers, while operating costs are significantly lower than those of oil-fired boilers, making it particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises with stringent environmental requirements.
